2ND Annual Elementary School Track & Field Challenge at Moore in cooperation with P.E. teachers and athletics department volunteers
May 21, 2011 Moore High School Track
This is a FREE meet for all participants and spectators. It's FREE & it's FUN.
Participants must: (1) be in the 4TH, 5TH or 6TH grade; (2) be a student within the Moore Public School District; (3) be recommended by their elementary school P.E. Teacher.

Instructions for P.E. Teachers (Track & Field Coordinators):
To enter your students in the "2011 Track & Field Challenge": (1) Have your students take home the Event Registration Form so their parents can complete and sign the form. AFTER they return their Registration Form to you, you can add them to your official Track Roster. (see step #2 below)

(2) Go to www.trackroster.com and add your students to your Track Roster. NOTICE: TrackRoster will be under construction until May 11, 2011. You may set up your 2011 TrackRoster Account beginning May 12TH. The Home Page is the Log-In Page. On the top - right of the Log-In Page is the link to Setup New Accounts. There will be instructions available on the login page for your convenience.
Once your TrackRoster account is set up, you can begin entering the following information for each participant on your "Main Roster" page: (a) first and last name; (b) gender; (c) grade. - - - No other information is needed. You can add or delete students on your TrackRoster up to Wednesday - 6pm - May 18TH. (Roster Deadline)
REMEMBER - - - you must add the "2nd Annual T & F Challenge at Moore" to your "schedule". (Step #2 on TrackRoster)
DEADLINES: Deadline for student Registration Forms: Friday - May 13TH. Roster Deadline: Wednesday - 6pm - May 18TH. (no exceptions)
Teachers and/or Track & Field Coordinators - - - The information on your TrackRoster™ will be used to prepare the Competition Arm Bands for each of your students. At 8:45 (the morning of the meet), you will be given a packet that contains a list of the students that you added to your official TrackRoster™ for this event - plus - the Competition Arm Bands for your students. You can then give the Arm Bands to your students between 9am and their first event. Arm band packets will be available at the Timing Trailer (west end of home bleachers).

(There will be no "unattached" participants and no sign-ups the morning of the meet.)

General information for Parents, Spectators and Participants
Arm Bands distributed by P.E. Teachers (Coordinators) to participants: 9:00 - 9:15 Softball Throw: 9:30 Running: 10:00 (Standing Long Jump starts after Softball Throw)
Students/participants MUST arrive at the Moore High School stadium by 9am to receive their Competition Arm Bands and instructions for the competition.
Order of Events Softball throw - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Begins at 9:30 Standing long jump - - - - - - - - - - - Begins after softball throw - - - - - All races are professionally timed using electronic (F.A.T.) equipment. 4 X 100m Relay Timed Finals - - - - - - - - - - Begins at 10:00 50m Dash* Prelim - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - rolling schedule 800m Run (Girls) Timed Finals - - - - - - - - - 50m Dash Finals - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 400m Dash Timed Finals - - - - - - - - - - - - - 100m Dash* Prelim - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 800m Run (Boys) Timed Finals - - - - - - - - 100m Dash Finals - - - - - - - - - - *Top eight go to the finals in the 50m & 100m Dash.
Students may enter up to three (3) events using the combinations listed below: one running event & two field events -OR- two running events and one field event. Members of your relay team may enter four events, three of which may be running. Relay points are not doubled.
Students must compete in their respective grades and genders. (no exceptions)
No soccer or football cleats are allowed on the track. Track spikes are allowed.
1ST, 2ND & 3RD place finishers in each event will receive an Award Certificate. A plaque will be awarded to the 1ST Place school for each grade and gender.
